| I'm not generally into "fades", although I own a "fade" kit. Weirdly enough, out of all of my kits the Gretsch Chestnut Fade Catalina Birch kit is the one non-drummers ooh and ahh over.
I saw a really pretty DW exotic kit in a fade finish at Drum World in Pittsburgh last week. It was neat despite being a fade.
By the way, Jackie made her first "drum purchase" for herself. She now proudly wears a black twill DW hat.
