Visions to me are the definitive Paiste. They're very clean, clear, sound almost like a bell with tons of overtones, yet still very defined.

I think 'glassy' is the best word I've been able to come up with to describe them.

Other than the colours, I think they're amazing cymbals. I'm becoming more of Paiste fan all the time.

chad smiths over here are only 230 bucks. sensitones are 200?

Doesn't Steve Jordan have a set of pink hi-hat cymbals, at the very least? I remember seeing them, either on his DVD, or on a YouTube performance vid with John Mayer.

Personally, I think they look great - I don't mind colored cymbals.

I wouldn't buy a cymbal that didn't sound good just because it's a certain color, but on the other hand, I wouldn't pass on a cymbal that sounded good simply because it's not a natural bronze color.

Then again, I just bought a pink snare drum shell - don't go by me. Err...
