Well there's a surprise Rich.

It's been a while since our very similar taste has surfaced.

To my ear, the China and the Ozone are quite different, but would sound wonderful together in the same setup.

Why is it drug addicts and computer afficionados are both called users?

Thanks guys! I do have bike shorts but like Lee said the next day is a painful beginning. Two weeks and my old ass will toughen up.

Guys the 20" HHX O-Zone is now one of my favorites!

It's not like the 16 or 18" it's more crashy with a longer decay, Gene it would make a great cymbal for Jazz, it's super, hypersensitive and the most dimanic cymbal I've ever played. It's big so it can be loud but if you just touch it lightly it has a deep dark crash ( the deepest darkest I've heard ever!) with a little glassy attack.

Rich the 20" is not like a china, it's more crash, less bite. It's a sound all it's own, maybe it has a little bit of china with a deep dark trashiness that rumbles. it's a cymbal you could use to, you know when you just feather the bass drum and the beat is more felt than heard, you can do that with this cymbal, it's just there, you can feel it, you know it's there but it's just on the bottom filling some space, hard to explain. Great cymbal though, and not like the smaller ones.

The 19" HHXTreme is another one. Gene you could use this one too, it would make a great Jazz cymbal. The 18" I have is one of my all time (I'll never get rid of this cymbal, cymbals) or should I say was, because now it's the 19". The 18 and 19 go perfectly together.

Ok here's my full list of cymbals, maybe you can see where I'm going or what I'm trying to build.

Very Cool Phil. I have some serious competition in cymbal collecting! That is a great set of cymbals.

I've never gotten around to collecting Sabians... yet.

I want to take a picture of all of my cymbals. Joshua requested a picture some time ago. I was just talking to Jackie about it and I don't know where I have enough room to lay them out.

We could start a Cymbal porn thread...
