Jumping back on topic - did you guys here that Joey subbed for Lars on Sunday at the UK Download Festival!

Apparently he really kicked arse.

Also, Dave Lombardo stepped in for a couple of numbers too

Hmmm you all seem to be forgetting a few drummers is the list of who is best.   Have you perhaps heard of Buddy Rich and Gene Krupa?

Who is the best is so subjective.. I say enjoy all drummers for what they have and learn from them.

The trouble is, they are both dead - therefore they would have found it hard to sub on Sunday

I agree man...there is no best - only sibjective opinion. It is like arguing about music - everyone is right, because you can't be wrong (it pisses me off when people don't realise that!).

By the way, Lars collapsed walking up the stairs to the stage. Talk about backing out at the last moment

I just spoke to Lars. He's fine and he congratulated me on my 700th post.

Well done my son

And - hurry up Joey!!!!!!

There is an undate on the Metallica website, and Lars is fine (there is a video of him and everything). You can buy the set from the link in that link I posted!

Should be worthwhile - the only ever Metallica gig without Lars
