Bonham wasnt necesarilly boring. Just not my cup o' tea.
I could never get into zeps music no matter how hard i tried. We just didnt click.

And (maybe for the above reason) i was never able to get into bonham and he never impressed me

(ok, back on topic)

Slipknot is the bestest that ever wuz.

(now for the "sub-topic")

I never really got into Zep either, but evertime I hear a Zep tune on the radio, I'm always impressed. It's all in the way his playing "feels." So laid back, loose, with a big fat undeniable pocket. The music may sound old now, but the grooves and fills bonham played are timeless, just as unique and "fresh" today as they were then.

::dies::

okay, five minutes after i got off i realized i used best instead of favorite...and theres ussually a huge gap of difference in between them. half of the time drumming is just...there, and not the best part of the song. anyway...

Joey is amazing, but what makes him that amazing is the blazing speed he rolls with and double basses with.. INSANE!!!

Another INSANE thing, are those massive sticks he plays with, like little logs they are.

Extremely good none the less. My fave drummer, role-modle, inspiration to take up drumming (no matter what anyone says) would have to be the man from Metallica.. Sir Lars Ulrich... (watch the flames come from this)

Too many drummers out there to say who's best...

But John and Jason both rock......  Awesome right feet...  Keith was crazy and played mod style real well.. but so did Carmine....

i love the dude from hanson. nothing says talent like him. such an inspiration to the drumming world. he/she blows the doors off of any drummer out right now.......of the closet anyway
