okay, i recently got the slipknot album Iowa, and i was sitting there listening to #14. at first i was like man what a boring song. and recently i went back and really listened, and there lyrics came on, first time hearing them, an was like , phook, dude, this song kicks groin.

this band has some of the best drumming ive heard. so open up your love for some discussion yo.

Slipknot are alright - although I prefer their first self release (Mate Kill Feed Repeat) to the main stream stuff.

Joey is an amazing drummer - he carries the whole band along with those explosive beats .

However, I am more musically drawn to Stone Sour - Corey and Jims spin off project. They seems to combine the edge of Slipknot with slightly more musicality!

Nah - Sorry, that would be Ian Paice

And then you would also be overlooking Jarrod Montegue (sp?) from Taproot. Nothing amazingly fast, just some really REALLY nice beats that work well in the music

Just after Ian Paice

Joey is good - very good. The problem is, it is hard to label someone as 'the best'. Joey is good - great - at what he does. I wish I could play some of his parts perfectly!

I suppose I could practice - but that would be, like, work or something

I was hoping so - otherwise I would be sending a copy of a very good book I have on punctuation and grammer

He is a very good drummer though. Ian is better

But not as good as Bonham, right Frank? (I'll get him all riled up here...)
