Saluda is only a ONE of the MANY chinese cymbal companies that will soon INVADE the rest of the world with astonishingly cheap cymbal prices, which will cause severe damage to the TRUE pioneers, Zildian, Sabian, Paiste. These chinese made cymbals will be good quality, but not QUITE as good as the big boys. But still good enough to lure sales.

The writing is on the wall, folks.

Our beloved cymbal makers that we have grown up with will sooner or later open CHINESE factories to manufacture their whole product lines. Quality will DROP along with the prices, and people previously employed at these companies will have lost their jobs to china.

Americans have been buying themselves out of their own jobs by purchasing chinese-made SHIT.

DON'T DO IT (if you can help it).

Sadly, for most products, we have little choice but to buy "made in China" because they've already destroyed the competition. (How ironic that we must compete with other countries' manufacturing, yet end up buying their products over our own.)

Therefore, I say, don't buy a Chinese unless you truly believe they have a superior product. Price alone is a dangerous thing, IMHO.

yeah, i know...Sabian and Paiste aren't American, but the same conditions exist.

Al, ebay really gives me no big discount that would allow me to get what i need at the price i want. plus, its great to show a cymbal for sale for 20 bucks...but shipping is 85 dollars.Argh!

I was looking at the mist-x or diamond series. I'm really starting to get into the zildjian K sound. nice and dark...

**although saluda doesn't really show any pouring....i guess he could buy the cymbals from china and finish them how he wants, lathing and hammering...GeekErr...

I see no melting or castimg equipment in the shop photos.
They must be buying blanks from some other source.

Due to metal and labor cost these cymbals are probably born in a foreign land and finished in south carolina.
