What's going on guys? My name's Matt, and I've been playing for about 16 years now. I was invited by Mike (drummer5359) the other day while at work (I work for Guitar Center) so I figured I'd check the place out.

As far as influences go, I've got a whole variety ranging from guys such as Neil Peart, Carl Palmer, Mike Portnoy and Bill Bruford to Steve Jordan, Jojo Mayer, Todd Sucherman and the late Jim Chapin.

I have two kits which I primarily use; a DW Collector's series and a Pearl VMX Vision. I also use a mix of both Zildjian and Sabian Cymbals (hey... they're from the same family at least, right?) I'll post the specs a little later for you all.

Hey Matt,

Welcome to drum-World. You'll find a good droup of knowledgeable drum geeks on here. Ages vary from 15 to 60-ish, and many english speaking countries are represented. You find the group gets along well and we all like to help each other out as we can.
