good job...  You actually liked Darrias?  Was he sober?  Last show I caught he was pounding Beer with Jim Or Jack chasers...  They tour was sponsered by Bud and either Jim or Jack..  He was a real asshole after the show....

thanks guys ,

i must have caught Darius on a good night (lol) i got to hang out with him for only a few moments though . he seemed ok to me .. i really got more of a chance to hang out with jim sonefeld and gary greene ( double g ) more than any other members .. which being i'm a drummer that was cool in itself .. i really had a blast talking to gary greene though because he's a super nice guy .and extremely down to earth ... i did get to meet with them right after the show was over too so i'm not sure they got to kick loose drinking a whole lot yet ... but it was a cool time ...

By the way - I love the overhead rack mounted cymbal configuration man - looks too cool to be real! Is it alright to play?

Your lucky man. My band is thinking about getting gigs to get money for a PA system and my guitarists cousin is rich and has one he doesnt use. He offered to give it to us if we opened for them.. ugh i dont wanna open for a local band with kids roughly the same age as me!!!!

Man - you have time for artistic integrity when you are making half a mil a gig. If you loose nothing for playig, and gain a PA - then do it!

And by loose nothing - your artistic integrity doesn't count

And what is embarrasment over a free PA? 40 min of loss of face over countless gigs where the crowd can here the vocals!

And if they are that bad the only people to hear you will be the parents and their closest (nicest) mates

haha I know... I've never heard these guys before and they play dave mathews type stuff not my favorite.

I'd do it but my guitarist would be the one to set it up and hes a lazy bum and probably wont get around to doing it anyway. I just found out my bassist was going out of town for 2 weeks and my guitarists are idiots and barely want to pracitice unless everyone is there because they have to take their heavy amps to my house which they make me carry around because they are P***ies. I doubt we'd be ready
