| Hello all
I grew up listening to Lars Ulrich, and consider him important more for his unique way of creating beats and fills around a song, not just playing a beat because it's a cool beat to play. He has a way of creating intensity in a song without it getting too busy (sometimes) The bottom line is, he is important because he has a SOUND, and I can't picture Metallica sounding like they do without him (musically; when he does interviews, it's another matter altogether)

| alan your a loser, ofwolfanman your right dont him on st. anger, that album is not to good. lama person or what ever your name is, you are alone in this, i garenty that all the drummers on this site good or bad will agree with me when i say that lars is one of the best orignal drummers, he is just really good on all his songs like one, fade to black, master of puppets, and sanitarium. its hard to keep a good beat and do fills that match the song on a slow song, if you no what im talking about. | | Message posted 2878 days ago | IP Logged |
