| just got my new band name graphic for my kick drum done
my brother made it for me (he makes all kinds of road signs for a living) the graphic is made out of high quality vinyl (not painted) and if i ever need to remove it all i have to do is run a hair dryer of the surface and peel the logo back off . i'm talking to him about doing some custom graphics on my drum shells too . (by the way the band graphic is in a brushed gold vinyl so it has ridge lines in like a cymbal does which is kinda cool) i talked to my brother about making custom band logo graphics for drummers and he said he would be interested in doing this on the side from his job,and he actually has about 150 different colors available to choose from with the vinyl,so anyone interested in finding out more feel free to contact me about details(i.m me on here even) . i saw the window craphics he did on his car ,and asked him if he could make me a band logo for my bass drum, and that's what started the ball rolling with this ....
we welcome comments on what everyone thinks of the logo itself (i also posted on harmony central and mostly got useless posts insulting my bands name, and not really much useful critique on the actual band name graphic itself that was made for me on the bass drum head in the attached pic of it) ... which actually was going to be a prototype logo for the one i was having him make me ,but it turned out so well that i told him just give me this one

| I think it looks pretty good. Although I doubt the photo does it justice - shimmery gold never comes over well in photos does it?
Shame I don't live in the USA - I'd like one. Phil 'CrazyDrummer' Tyler | | Message posted 3017 days ago | IP Logged |

yeah it's hard to take pics of gold in general and my digital isn't a top quality one either so i'm sure that doesn't help ...
Hey that looks really cool! Made out of vinyl? Does it play songs when you stick it under a record player?
that's cool . i got a good laugh out of that i wish it did that would be wild ..
HEY
what happened to the rest of your drums?!?!
i still have them all but with most of the venues we play i have a smaller setup that i use (stages aren't very big out there, and i guess i have to be nice and share the room we have with my other band mates)
Now THAT looks good !! Excellent.
hey thanks, i really thought it turned out well, and for a fraction of what it would have costed me anywhere else to have it done ... | | Message posted 3016 days ago | IP Logged |
