Franny, $150 is a fair price. I bought my Sensitone new for $230, although it's the upgraded one with the tube lugs.

I think it's a good drum at a decent price and it should serve you well.

But some of these Sensitones are selling for less than 100$. Why would I want to pay 150$ for one that is damaged?

the 2 less than $100 are Steel... Mine came with my set. However, when buying used drums the price varies from day to day and location to location. I won't tell you what I payed for my Brass Sensitone but you can look it up here since I posted it when I bought it. But remember I spend my time looking for the best deal I Can find. My local dealers sell used Sensitones for between $150 and $250 depending on model condition and size.

It can vary so much by location Franny. Like I said, my steel model, in London was $230.
