ok guys i need you help, im getting a pair of mastersound hi hats...

which hats sound better? a custom or the A's? i know the A's are heaver but what is the better sound pair in your opinion?

you sure bout that? I was thinking the A customs are darker sounding, in which case I would prefer them over the regular A mastersounds. Lee

Yeah u should try them both. Every pair will sound slightly different, even if the have all the same badges etc. But my opinion is the A customs are better. Snoopy <-- Thats my drums!

yep the A new beats are the darker sounding of the two A customs have the brillient finish which gives them that brightness FUCK ANDREW

Anyway Andrew is right Go listen that is truley the best way to decide... I like crispy hats that chic good when I'm closing them.

We have had both A, and A custom mastersound hats in the store, and the A customs were darker. The Lathing in the cymbal causes most of the brightness. The A customs' lathe grooves are buffed down which makes A customs a little darker sounding. That's not to say it's impossible to find a brighter pair of A custom hats, though. Lee
