OK, I want now off the handle reply...no shouting...no FBI investigations.

Isn't it strange how the commun ists really managed to get the music thing sorted?

Ok, there are issues - but we should look at their model for promoting tallent.

Dunno - the strangly tallented Russian violinists Pleased

The fact they used to have really intensive schools, all the brain washing etc.

Russia's musicians and artists in general were always defecting because they were miserable.

from birth by force really. They had no choice.


But I don't see the point in this anyway.....Russia did NOT produce the world's greatest violinists. They had their share of great ones like many other countries did as well. Russia pressured it's performing artists and athletes to be the best and/or win medals or else be punished.
