tactless-without tact. tact-Acute sensitivity to what is proper and appropriate in dealing with others, including the ability to speak or act without offending. That big definition-knowing when to speak, and when to shut the hell up. Or failing that, knowing when to apologize for being loud and tactless. For Future Reference-Asking about ex-wives is never a good idea. Hullo.
