Ok, I was board, and being bloody minded - I was trying to see if I could get html to load through the posting system.

Well done - it can't...but now I can't edit the post - I get the whole html of the page, plus no update button.

Well done for catching the bad thing - sorry I broke it

Nah, I didn't mean everyone was dead - just me on one post. I entered HTML directly, the most basic (and easilly blocked) malicious thing - then tried to remove it (I was playing, not trying to break anything - I am an engineer after all ).

Now I can't edit that post - but I thought it was a worthy enough issue to be looked at - it seems that the system can't find the end of the post and gives me back the whole page (HTML and all) to edit, but no buttons to upload the changes.

In any forum - it is a problem with me editting posts in which I have placed some raw html. You wont see any problems - I guess that is until you try and enter a html statement and try to edit it

No problems here.  I just entered a little bit of HTML code, and then edited it out.

Strange - I tried a couple of times, and each time the same!

May be something to do with the browser - the day of the week and the mood of the server

Wasn't much of a bug anyway - more me messing around and noticing something strange!

(just tried again, and it worked - strange huh!) thestub38105.4715277778

Not strange to me.  It was probably something you did, but you had not realized you were doing it, and you still haven't if this is true.

I definatly saw this - I'm just not sure of the cause. Perhaps it happens if you are a certain point in a list, or that the HTML was of a certain type (tried anchors and img tags).

Also, I initially noticed it when I editted HTML into, and then out of a post. It would be interesting to see the blocking code, and the dissembled webpage.

It was just a curio - not a real error anyway.
