Nothing, absolutely NOTHING can replace having a GOOD private teacher. You'll learn twice as fast as without a teacher, I'll GUARANTEE that!!

There are some really good DVD's out today that are a good alternative if money is an issue. But if at all possible, get a good private teacher who can really zero in on your specific needs and create a tailor-made lesson plan for YOU.

what can help sometimes is just watching and listening other drummers and get inspiration from , try and imitate what you see and hear
