To me anarchy in the UK always was about the Sex Pistols and the Clash.

This is horrible, I hope that it get's sorted out soon.

I agree Rich, the army should have been brought in sooner - maybe thaw out Churchill to kick them up the arse and teach them a bit of respect for the country so many gave lives for defending. Hail to England Luke F#*H YEAH

Rich, scenes of violence and arson like that against your own country and people is disgusting and disturbing.
What would those who laid their lives down 70 years ago protecting London while it burned think about the lack of respect?

Maybe harsh I'm not sure - I guess there are some massive underlying issues that have built up this tension and anger.

sorry luke, i totally got the wrong end of the stick. In my mind i thought you were saying i was being to reactionary in saying 'bring in the army'.

in reality i dont think the army should be used to put down civil unrest. i do however think if the police had 'hit them harder' on the first night or two we wouldnt be in the situation we are in now.
and yes there are massive problems but i dont see them as a result of anger, more a result of greed.
