Well - I was thinking of just dropping in...I know they don't have a show room - but as I would be collecting it then what harm can it do?

Drum World is only 15 or so miles from here

I dont know why, but i havent jumped in on this topic yet. stub i feel like i can tell the story of your life now.

Anyway, while were kinda on the subject of cymbals, anyone tried out the Sabian AA thin crashes?? I need to upgrade and get rid of my B8s and from the sound check thing they seem the best for me but of course it probably sounds a lot different in person.

As always, take your cymbals to the store - and hit metal. There can be no substitute

And if you want my life story - here goes

I've got some AA's and I like them.  But as Gareth as put it don't go by what we like.  Hit them all and buy what sounds best to you for you needs and fits into your current cymbal sound or if your changing all together start with a good ride and hats and build the rest of the sounds around them.

Has anyone tried those titanium hi-hat solids or heard them yet? I can't imagine they would sound like anything less than trash, but that's that garbage-can sound I like. I have future plans for cymbal upgrades too, but who in the heck doesn't? If yer drummer, you never don't have the itch for new cymbols!

Dunno - and it is impossible to have too many cymbals

They are the drum equivalent of effects pedals
