Is the pope catholic

New cymbals and a few extra stands I think...I may even get a new snare and hi-hat stand.

And a second snare - perhaps a wood one

I was thinking of a set of 13" hats to my right, and possibly some nice heavy new crashes - the Menil projection crashes have caught my gave, but then there are the Sabian heavy metal range (can't remember the proper name). Probably be going with the menil.

I fancy trouping down the shop with all my cymbals, getting a few stands out around a kit and seeing what I fancy...I probably want to upgrade my 20" crash/ride to something more full on

Oh, and I wouldn't mind a nice big china, which I would probably mount to my right, to ride on some more - I fancy carrying the beat between the two chinas

Menil have never really done it for me, mind you its been a while. my first ever cymbals were a budget meinl pack, they were sh*te. its a good thing that entry level cymbals are much better quality now. menalaus38175.3922222222

I had the Amun Menil 'Projection Crash' and the Sabian "HHX Metal Crash" (or whatever it is called) next to each other - and I prefered the Menil...and after reading the price tag I loved the Menil.

Menil £95, Sabian £130...I'll take the cheap better one thanks

16"...I was looking at getting a complete new set of crashes - so 16", 18" and possibly something bigger as well - in the end I stuck. But I may add something soon as a pressie to myself for getting a job (if I get it - but it seemed promising this morning).

Now all I have to do is get the job

I will find out by the end of the week aparently...but my inside sources said that the panel were impresed.

I am also getting a new throne for a graduation gift from my parents and sister.

I am thinking of going for the top of the range drum world one. It looks like a lot of stool for £70.
