You should make a list of your preferences Joshua, you don't have to buy hardware and woodblocks just for the sake of it. I'd say cymbals are your next main priority considering that you've already upgraded the snare.

The K Custom series cymbals are very nice cymbals - I'm curious to know why you have choosen to go for the heavier bigger cymbals instead of thinner cymbals like the K's? Pleased

I hae a thin 14" HH and it's sort of too easy if you know what I mean, TOO crashy. I think I'd prefer (I've also tried an A Custom) and it's quite good. I like the sound and it suits my style, rock.

Most sane percussionists would kill for Ks in just about any situation. You can't go wrong with them.

I've played all these models and they were all brilliant. Plus we know Rich has good taste.

Thanks. That's interesting. But why do they use the word Session? Was that just something from the marketing department, or does it mean something? - Just curious. - Al

What I'm trying to get at is: is the word session used to refer to some characteristic of the cymbal, or are the marketing people just trading on some romanticized image of a recording session or a jam session? I'm probably just giving this way too much thought. - Al
