The Alarm just released a song called 45RPM that was in the top 25 Brit Charts. However they did it under another name and I can't remember what it is. Steve Studio Technologies

Ok, I have done some digging - and "The Alarm" are a Welsh band that have reformed after splitting in 1981. The new single is "New Home New Life" which is marketted as 45bpm in other countries. I hoope that is what you were after. Gareth I'm from the Old South Wales. Original and the best.

Oh, and the homepage for the band is www.thealarm.tv. I can't get over the fact that was a huge Welsh band I didn't know about - there are only about five of us living in this country Gareth I'm from the Old South Wales. Original and the best.

I did not know they were Welsh... One of my favorite bands from the late 70', early 80's... And yes that helped a lot.

Here's a little clip that I found about them.

"The Alarm are back in favour with their successful single 45RPM. Because of pre-conceived music industry ideals about age, fashion and scenes, The Alarm feared rejection with their new release. Therefore, the lads decided to temporarily change their identity to The Poppy Fields, in an attempt to storm the Top 40 charts." Rob Jones - February 2004
