The trashformer has great reviews, but has anybody tried stacking it on another, larger crash? Zildjian recommends that as another way to utilize the trashformer, so I was wondering if anybody's tried it and how it sounds.

The Trashformer is a ZXT that purposely warped under high heat. The result is a trashy but unique and musical sound. Very cool. They do sound very good stacked if you're into that kinda thing, but I prefer it's sound alone.

Yes I plan on getting one as well as numerous other cymbols...actually I'm in the process of building a whole new kit from the ground up...everything brand new. I'm in a research facility in Tacoma, WA swallowing experimental medical drugs for $2500.00 as a starter for money. My only contact with the outside world is the internet, which is where I've been spending most of my time looking into new cymbols. I play mostly metal/punk and want really thrashy, loud stuff. I'm also looking into the new titanium solid hi-hats. Anything that sounds good in a garage-y sort of way.
