This is If ya want blood 92. I play Everything from AC/DC to Pantera, I'm best known for "If You Want Blood (You Got It)"
I play a 5+1 Ludwig Accent Kit, It ain't much, but It works fine.
I don't put any faith in electric kits, and I've asked anyone who knows me to shoot me if I purchase one.Argh!
I got a bud who plays like the next Dimebag, andwe're working up a band.
That's @ it

Signing off from nowhere, NC.

Welcome.

The introductions page is a place to share some basic information which helps everyone down the road. What's your name? How long have you been playing? How old are you? You did give us an idea of what type of music you are into and what kind of set you have, so that's a start.

I'm Mike. I live in Baltimore, I'm 48 years old, I've been playing almost 40 years. I'm married with no children, play old Slingerlands and am a business man by day.

(There is your example...)

What does this mean ?.."I'm best known for "If You Want Blood (You Got It)"..we'll assume that '92 is your birth year.

..by the way, a dude with a Ludwig accent kit knows as much about e-kits as he does about acoustic kitsArgh!Argh!

..besides the obvious AC/DC reference..

Phhh... Alright, stop judging before you know what's going on, you jerkArgh!

My first kit was a yamaha electic. And I hated it. More power to you if you play them, just not my thing.

And i'm just now upgrading to a Tama Superstar Custom SK kit. Adding on @ 5 ZHT cymbals, too.

Don't judge me by my kit, I just can't afford one that that's that good. I'm just now getting the income I need.

I'm 15, been drumming for six years. I'm up to the level of playing sons by Lars Ulrich and Nicko McBrain

Alright then..all are welcome to cap on others equipment but expect a response..IMO..the top end Roland kit is worlds above anything before it...the entry kits make you hate them..rightfully so..you also need a decent P.A. to appreciate how great they sound...it's the same for cheap acoustics.

Can you play the solo from "Pog mo thoin" by Danny Meazell?

...just kidding..expect it.

Brother ..I wouldn't start out by saying you play like Ulrich and McBrain...there's more than a few hundred years of professional drumming experience on this site and you're welcome to add your years to it!Pleased..have fun.

Okay Zack,

You have conficence in your abilities. That can be beneficial in some circles, but coming into a forum with players of all ages and levels of experience with an attitude is probably not wise.

There are a lot of people here who are knowledgable, friendly and helpful.

I'm sure that although you having been playing for three fifths of your life, you probably could learn something here.

Conversely, If you act civilized, whatever you have to add is welcome. Some of us, although we may have started playing around the time your parents were born, are humble and still thirsty to learn.

Simply put, leave your attitude at the door if you wish to join our group, or don't and have fun in nowhere North Carolina. We are comfortable with whatever your decision.
