One of my favorite drummers is Al Jackson. He was the drummer for Booker T and the MGs. I don't expect you to have any idea of who they were, but...

They backed Wilson Picket, Otis Redding, Eddie Floyd, Sam and Dave and basicly anyone who recorded at Stax or Volt records. They also played on some Atlantic records releases.

In any case, the guy defined feel and taste and never overplayed.

That is what it's really about.
