Yes..I'm still here! ..Pat from California..a sick monkey...been playing since 1972..a young 50....have turned to the dark side and play VDrums (TD20 expanded ,TD10) exclusively..although I have Sonor and Ludwig kits.

I play in 3 bands presently ..the most lucrative being my dance party band. the others are in the formative stages...mostly ROCK...clubs ,festivals,private parties,weddings,funerals etc.

Haven't been on as much as I'd like since Lee turned me to facebook Argh!

...but always lurking...this is a great bunch of guys....even Matt! ..anything worth knowing can be found here.

G'day I'm Luke. I'm an Aussie.
I'm 34, married with 3 beautiful children.
I've been playing for 23 years.
I have two kits, a Premier birch with a Pearl snare, Tama hardware and Sabian cymbals. The other is a bitsa micro-kit with a 16"kick I coverted from a floor tom.
I live in paradise about 700 metres from a world listed marine park and about 100 metres from a national park aka the bush.
I've been building our house for 4 years now. I play soccer, love campinf, fishing, surfing and farting

I would love a union of Drum-Worlders in a pub one day (preferably near my place)

I thought I'd post on this thread to put it out there for newbies again. Besides, my situation has changed. I'm hitting the road soon to travel across the US in a motor home.

I still only have 6 kits. Pleased

But, I'm up to 30 snares and 52 cymbals now.

Anyone new, please post a new thread to tell us about yourself.
