i have one!! if you dont mind. i also have a splash on my crash and by the looks of things your "afraid" to hit it just like me. this is becaus in my view that were afraid to ruin it but it shouldnt! so by all means hit it so that you can get its full petensial

Not really afraid to hit it - just trying to keep the volume to within the same range. If I play the drums reasonably quietly (which I was doing) and then belt the cymbals real hard it just sounds out of place. I think I know what you mean though. LOve the beard - I'm jealous. My wife said if I grow another beard I will get absolutely NO sex whilst its there. Nice set-up, cool stuff - groove is everything Luke F#*H YEAH

Last comment? I would just recommend practicing with a metronome to try to keep tempo consistent, even through fills. Member since at least October 2005!
