| I was just wondering why I can't upload my custom avatar?
It is under the size requirement at only 50 X 50.
Thanks. | | Message posted 2919 days ago | IP Logged |

| | The easiest way I have found is to have it on a different server that's available all the time, such as space you may have with your ISP. If you can do that, then right-click, go to properties, copy the complete url to that avatar and paste that in your avatar slot here. | | Message posted 2858 days ago | IP Logged |

| Yeah, if you're just trying to get it to work from your hard drive (Example: You're telling it that it's located on your "C:" drive), then you're doing it wrong. You need to have it on "out on the internet".
Your ISP most likely provides space for you to make a web site, so this is where you should upload your pic.
They should have easy to follow instructions on their site. For example, my ISP is Comcast, so I go to www.comcast.net and I am able to upload my files using an HTTP file upload. It's all very easy and self-explanatory.
My username at comcast is ironcobra, so my website's address is http://ironcobra.home.comcast.net
If I uploaded test.jpg and I wanted to show you guys that pic, I would then use this URL:
http://ironcobra.home.comcast.net/test.jpg
If I made a folder called "pics", and then uploaded "test.jpg" to that folder, the address (URL) would then be:
http://ironcobra.home.comcast.net/pics/test.jpg
Pretty simple. :)
Do not click on any of those links. They are not real. | | Message posted 2858 days ago | IP Logged |
