I have Blakrome Slingerlands like he played back in the day and my DWs are set up similarly to his.

It must be a coincidence. Pleased

Cant remember where I saw it, maybe anatomy of a drum solo? He talks about the whole design of his kit is to exhert less effort and everything is supposedly ergonomic to his body. My drums are sooooo not ergonomic!!! Maybe some day, my husband will upgrade and I will inherit his Tama Rockstar customs? They sound so much better than mine. DW's are beautiful sounding drums..big bucks! No way in hell is my husband letting me get DW's before him.. THEM's FIGHTING WORDS!..LOL

Your husband is a drummer too? Very cool.

Jackie and I met online. The photo of me behind a kit caught her eye.

Clare and Gareth (the Stub) both play.

Yeah.. Drummers have such nice asses! Rock hard..oh sorry did I say that outloud? LOL

I have always been a musician and had a pre-requisite that whomever I was with, had to love music too. He is the reason I found drums, Used to be a guitarist/keyboardist...just fell in love with drums after the first time I played them.

Two drummers in the house has its challenges...like where the hell are my sticks and my drum key...BRIAN??*&^%$#
Its good though. If I get stuck on how somebody plays something, he is always happy to show me.. He is amazing and makes me want to practice more!

LMAO! They are mis-informed!

I think being diverse helps you communicate with your other bandmates..sometimes I just grab Kat's guitar and show her...Try it like this...I liked playing keys too.

You in a band?

I'm not currently.

We sold a house outside of DC, spent a few months in Richmond and are now in the middle of a whole house renovation in Pittsburgh.

I played in bands forever until my career made it impossible. I had two strokes and retired. Now I have the time to play again.

My brother is a guitarist in the area. We wnat to start a new project.

I know,,its hard to devote the time and then all the bullshit that comes along with it..Its a pain in the ass! Brian is just getting back into a band thing now. he has an audition on Sunday. The Egos, the drama...But its fun and we love it when things are going good. my band is currently looking for a female bassist now. we have one that doesnt like to practice...talk about a rare find..just like sasquatch...LOL

Hell finding any decent bass player is a pain without worrying about gender. (I spelled pain right this time.) You might find it easier to find a crossdressing bassplayer...

(I'm not looking for an image to go with that.)
