At the university we have a set of 14" hats and a 20" ride.

They are very, very nice cymbals. The hats are my favourite that the school has, and we've got various Dream, A New Beats, and some Ks sitting around.

The ride I really like too. Better than and of the Dream stuff, Sabian AA or even a couple vintage Ks and As we've got floating around.

It's a really great classic cymbal.

Yeah we have them over here, not bad cymbals. Better than some other cymals from Turkey.

I really like a couple of Bosphorus rides I recently tried.

And even a Sabian Vault Artisan...

Jackie and I were at Richmond Music Center a little while ago and I played a few cymbals. Nothing really made me go wow.

So I left a music store without buying anything.

Call it a holiday miricle.

A local store has just started carrying Bosphorus as well. Some are really nice.

The pair of Turkish ride/hats that we have are relatively old, probably from about 2000 (I know that's not old in cymbal terms, but for this company it is). They have monstrous patina and sound really dry.

I've never heard 'new' Turkish before.

Am I remembering correctly?

Didn't DM, the Exaulted One, claim to have an endorsement?

I agree that Bosphorus are the best maker now in Turkey.
