| This has been buggin me for a while, but what's up with these little one paragraph reviews? You'd think if you were gonna write a review on somethin you say a little more than what's being said in the reviews that have already been posted.
Gullanian (or whoever else has to approve the submissions), you should make these guys work a little harder for their drumpoints. Crappy little one paragraph reviews is simply sub-par. | | Message posted 3174 days ago | IP Logged |

| If it bothers you so much, write better ones. You can write reviews for things that have already been done. | | Message posted 3173 days ago | IP Logged |

Time is the issue for me. With college classes, homework, giving drum lessons, gigging (mainly out of town), and having a girlfriend, I don't really have that much time to be writing reviews at all, let alone on things that have already been done. I've already written 2 (one on my 14" Ayotte snare and the other on a 20" K Custom Medium Ride). Both were pretty thorough and would actually give people a clearer idea of how both the snare and ride performed, which is usually the reason why people read reviews. | | Message posted 3173 days ago | IP Logged |

| Stavis, I agree with you but didnt know the best way to tackle it, but ive given it some thought and will be implementing minimum lengths on reviews soon.
Thanks for your feedback, its important to me! Tom | | Message posted 3173 days ago | IP Logged |

Thanks a lot for taking it into consideration. You see my point though right? Nobody can truly understand just how a snare sounds, or the types of applications that a certain cymbal could be used in just from one paragraph.
Some people write those reviews just for the drum points, without taking into consideration what the reader is going to get out of it. In my mind, that totally defeats the purpose of the idea of a review. | | Message posted 3173 days ago | IP Logged |

| stavis, you have to remember that none of us work for a drum magazine company, so we're just not going to have the ability to write the kind of reviews you expect to see.
Are any of my reviews included in your complaint? | | Message posted 3173 days ago | IP Logged |
