I don't know about the price, bought mine used with hi-hats. What I do know is that I've changed all of my hardware to DW, except the pedals. Iron Cobras both, leverglide and doubles, no need to change those out as they are so solid!

I played one in another drummer's kit a couple times.

It was a decent pedal. I really don't like IC bass drum pedals. So for me to say the IC hat was decent is a big deal.

I have that hi-hat and I think it's great! really nice has a tilt so you can pull the cymbals back some, very smooth quick pedal, get it you will love it.

I have one and can say with confidence that it's the best hat stand i've ever played. Tama is a great brand and i recommend it to anyone.
