Cool. Ford has a better idea.

Cream band, orange top and piping, diamond pattern, stand and and case. Yeah, I need one.

I have a motorcycle type Pork Pie. It's very similar to Roc n Soc. You won't go wrong with either choice. I LOVE my Pork Pie throne. It is the best piece of hardware I own.

I agree. I set my kit up my throne, not the other way around.

I revived this thread because I told my husband that I need a bigger throne for my big butt! LOL I have almost fallen off mine a couple of times getting up, but he says it's just because I'm a klutz.

...which is actually true.

Anyway I'm looking for suggestions, I like the look of a "saddle" one I saw at 2112, looks like it might contain my caboose pretty well....? LOL Thoughts on thrones, guys?

I like a saddle type, you also might consider a backrest.
Make sure the legs are double braced. A cloth top is more comfortable than vinyl, I have one of each.

What Billy said. And I think cloth on the back rest is especially important. On mine, both the seat and the backrest are vinyl, and the back of my shirt is always sopping wet with sweat after I play. - Al

I have a roc-n-soc cycle throne. Brilliant throne, very comfortable and is a great throne if you want one with a backrest (you can also get it without, if you like).
It also has a very sturdy base. Pleased
