I just realized that I don't quite have the stands I need for the DWs.

I was intending to have 5 mounted toms, so I have 2 double tom/cymbal stands and 1 single tom/double cymbal stand all new in the boxes. Since I am doing "2 up, 2down" with regular floor toms, (for now...) I need to get a couple of more cymbal stands.

I should be able to buy one per pay while I pay off the DWs. I also need another throne since I am going to have a kit at Jackie's place.

I'll probably move the DWs straight into there from the store.

Lucky for you Tama is doing a fab-u-lous throne promotion.

Are you a Biker-man, or a Shag-man, man?

In all seriousness, the Tama HT730 may be the most comfortable throne my ass has ever had the pleasure of sitting in Pleased. I'd suggest that for your hardware dilemma.

I'll check it out. The Roc-N-Soc Nitro, and DW Tractor Airlift are both on my list to check out as well. Has anyone parked their butt on a Pork Pie throne? They seem pretty cool.

Pork Pie Big Boy motorcycle-style seat... large, very comfortable parking place for my 260 pounds!

And in answer to your question Jesse, I'd prefer the "Biker" throne to the "Shag".
