| Hey guys - I'm new here. Anyway.
I have a Saluda Mist 20" Ride cymbal and the thing is freakin' awesome.
I was wondering if anyone has ever used their hi-hats and crashes, and if they're any good.
I hate cymbals that ring - so cymbals that have really quick decay I really appreciate.
Thanks! | | Message posted 1742 days 1 hour 10 mins ago | IP Logged |

| I have a Saluda Mist 17" Full Crash, Mist 18" Rock Crash, Mist 14" Rock hats, and a 19" voodoo China. They are all AMAZING cymbals. The crashes are loud and bright (espically the full crash) and the hats are very clean sounding. If you like the ride, definatly get the crashes and hats.
The 18" does ring a bit. But that's about it. The china have fast decay. It's a great china. | | Message posted 1742 days ago | IP Logged |

| Actully, Saluda china's are very similar to Wuhan's. How's that Mist ride? What would you compare it's sound to? | | Message posted 1734 days 2 hours 33 mins ago | IP Logged |

| I've not heard of Saluda, however I'm just getting back in drumming after being out for longer than most of you have probably been alive. I've got so much to re-learn, so much has changed. The Saluda cymbals...expensive ??

Yeah, Saluda's are alot cheaper than Sabian, Zildjain, or Paiste. There site is http://www.saludacymbals.com if you wanna do some research. Here's a pretty good sound clip too: http://www.saludacymbals.com/mattbrown.mp3

| What about the bells? I wasn't impressed by their cymbals a whole lot, but the bells might be worth a shot sign-unseen becuase they aren't too expensive. | | Message posted 1729 days ago | IP Logged |

| if you dont like rings in your cymbals you can buy a good cymbal that does have a ring and put one of those zildjian ring tone things for your cymbals. they work really well. but i like all natural sounds =D | | Message posted 1729 days ago | IP Logged |
