I guess. (I never cared for it.)

Of course I'm not a fan of television in general. I really enjoy the BBC series "Top Gear" and I like NCIS. But I don't even know when they are on.

Top Gear is awesome. There is an Aussie version as well as the UK version but it pales in comparison. We have the UK version on about 4 times a week

We have A Russian one too. It's like a big car ad.

I watch UK Top Gear all the time.

It's so much better than any of the Canadian or US auto shows. The guys are hilarious and they have so many interesting segments that are not just about testing out the cars.

I know this is rarely done, but I'm going to return this thread to it's origial reason for being.

I picked a Sabian HHX 18" Evolution Ozone crash from Katie while I was at Greenbrier earlier this week and I thought I'd share my observations...

Although I own a few chinas and splashes, I dont use them a lot. I prefer to have several different crashes at my disposal rather than giving up one of the spots to a cymbal that can be easily overused.

There are times that a different accent is needed though, and in those situations I like the sound of an ozone over a china or splash.

It really is a nice cymbal, but it could be overused pretty easily. I'll reserve it for those instances. It has put a few of my chinas and splashes out of work for the time being.

Mike,

I find this cymbal to be in between a crash and a china. Love mine, and it never sticks out like a sore thumb, which I seem to find easy to do with a china.

I've grown more accustomed to mine. Saying it's in between a crash and a china is a good characterization. It"s good when you want a really strong accent, but I still have a somewhat mixed opinion of it. I guess it's a good addition to the palette if it's not overused. It sounds best when I have my headphones on.

I just love to beat on stuff with sticks!

I'm getting some use out of mine.

I guess the real issue is that any sound other than a traditional crash sound doesn't sound "right" to me from behind the kit.

I think it sound really cool when other people hit it.

Confused
