I just picked up a 20" Sabian AAX Studio Ride on ebay for $91. I like the Studio and Memphis rides the best out of the AAX series that I've played. I'm watching a couple of sets of hi-hats on ebay now. I won an AAX 18" China and a 10" Splash at Big Beat.

I'll slowly pick up some crashes as I'm on the road in the next year.

I know my systematic approach to collecting cymbals drives some of you nuts. (My appologies.)

Constantinoples, K Customs and HHX/HHs are still on my radar. (of course...)

If I bought a quarter as much stuff as you do Mike, I would have bought myself out of house a home a while ago!

Has it arrived yet?

No, bought it this afternoon. I just came home from a local Richmond shop. I played one just to make sure I wasn't being stupid.

It reminds me a lot of my Zildjian Sweet Ride.

That's how I felt about it. That's the price of a used splash.

Those are sweet...I got my eye on a 20" medium AA for this weekend. It was my first real ride cymbal, and i'm finally going back to it...

if you ever get the opportunity, get a phil collins signature if you can find one...they are one of the best rides i have ever heard...

limited edition though, from 2004 (?) only 2000 made. Closest thing now is the HH raw bell dry...

The ride arrived a few minutes ago. I set it up, but I have not hit it yet as I'm waiting for it to get to room temperature, or at least close.

I'll keep you guys in the loop.

I played on it a bit yesterday, it's a good ride. Even with light jazz sticks the bell really cuts.

I will check those out Phil.
