I agree with you about Cream. I was so into them when I was a kid that I named my dog Ginger.

My ticket for the Cream show was $400. The seats were very good, but the top seats on the floor were going for about $1000.

Ginger sounded great. Amazing if you consider that he's probably nearing 70 (correct me if I'm mistaken about that). Playing DW. Perfect for the gig.

They sounded stronger at the Garden than they did at the London shows (IMHO). More of a pity if they don't do any more.

He's in his mid to late 60's for sure.. And I would have loved for them to cut a new record. It would have been awesome...

It would be interesting. While Eric Clapton has gotten the noteriety, Baker and Bruce have done some terrific stuff over the years. I was introduced to a 16 year old Simon Phillips playing with Jack Bruce's band at the Bottom Line years ago. He has many interesting solo albums, but not much commercial appeal. Ginger Baker has done some very interesting work with Bill Frissel and Charlie Hayden.

I would have loved to hear all their seasoning and experiences put into new material.

Peter Edward "Ginger" Baker was born in Lewisham, South London on 19 August 1939.

That would make the Master 66 years, 5 months old.
