Something I learned long ago... be careful arguing politics or religion with people.  It is almost impossible to change someones mind.  I did not support the decesion to go to war with iraq, nor did I or do I support George Bush.  I do however have a great deal of respect for the armed service personel who are set to the mid east to fight in this mess.  I also respect the inocent people who died on 9-11.  My father was a volunter firefighter and in my mind the police, fire fighters and other emergency personel are grossly under paid.

In closing I would like to state one of my favorite quotes

"why can't we all just get along?"

A 5 point bonus for the person who can name the person who made this quote.

Peace!

My favorite quote is:

"2000 years after a man got nailed to a tree for saying 'wouldn't it be nice if we just all got along?' ".

That was by Douglas Adams, a profound thought on Christianity from an atheist .

(btw I thought this thread had died )
