I ain't gonna look to see what's on the other page.

Are you guys hungry?

Hey got some news and you heard it here first!

Evans is coming out with the J2 head, it's sand blasted like the J1 but they start with a 12mil head. I don't know when they'll be out, soon I think.

Sorry for the drum talkErr...

Now back too the bullshit!

How did you manage to find that out before everyone else?

Phil,

Good luck with Evans and Vic Firth.

I like the fact that you only go for endorsement deals with products you believe in.

People who switch endorsement deals regularly take away some of the credibility of an artist endorsement. You are not playing that game.

Cool Dude

The other Mike got a Paiste deal and has played Paiste for years. That's the way it should be.

You two give me faith that it's not all BS.

Some of our younger drummers are very good. The longer you play drums, the better you get, hopefully! But, the price we pay for honing and developing our playing skills over a long period of time is... age! Most of our pros here can no longer be called young.

(Unless your name is Duncan and you've been a musician since you were in diapers!)Devilish

I realize this post came out of nowhere, I guess it's a symptom of age called senility!Argh!

Or your've been pounding beers every day Phil.

Mike I couldn't play anything I didn't like.

I didn't say this before but when I had Peace Drums I call and told them what junk it was and I wanted better. I never played out with them and later just set up my Tama kit and only played that. I've played Tama for 7 years and Vic Firth for 26 years, Sabian since the begining. Sonor is pretty good drums but I love Iron Cobra pedals.

I'm happy to be able to collect and play different kits. I like the different flavors. The same goes for cymbals.

If I were going to nail myself down to one brand of kit, I'd probably have to go with Gretsch USA Customs and DW pedals and hardware.

I love having Zildjian "A"s, "K"s, and Paiste 2002s and Signatures. BUT, If I were going to stay with one brand, right now I'd do Paiste.

I jump around on heads depending on the kit.

The only products I never stray from are Vic Firth sticks.

So I'd make a lousy endorser. (I don't think I have to worry about it!)

I'm back in town, so... I'm back to work tommorrow.
