I do have to say that after watching American football a little more the last few years, I am starting to understand the intricacies of it a little better. Canadian football (CFL) is played on a larger field, with a different ball, only three downs instead of four, and it's much more of a running game than a passing game.

I am still a baseball fan through and through though! SPRING TRAINING STARTS IN A COUPLE WEEKS! EEEEEE!

I'm looking forward to seeing what the Pirates do this year. They've been horrendously bad for a long time, but there are some interesting prospects in the minor leagues there for sure.

Jays are in a similar boat. Been stuck as a .500 or slightly better team for the last 10 years. But TONS of high ceiling prospects finally making it to the majors should make them a pretty interesting club for the next few years.

Soccer (Football RichPleased) season starts here last week in March. Training starts next week. I'll be playing in the Over-35 grade only this year. My fitness isn't bad I played 7-side Summer soccer comp as well as touch footy (Tip Rugby League)over summer which is a very fast game

I'm looking forward to dusting off my bike and putting some miles on it this year.

I bought a nice used Trek this past summer.

This is where I do my riding...

I have a friend in the same predicament Rich. He injured his knee in the first game last year and had two operations afterwards. The surgeon said the extent of the injury was normally seen only in motorcycle accidents etc. The Football association here has refused to let him play with a brace as it has metal struts (covered)in it to stop lateral movement. He is devastated. Its possibly coaching only from here on.

Tonight's gig with the Green Ridge Runners went well, especially when you consider it's been two months since we played out. We ended up having some musician friends come to see us for the first time and they seemed to enjoy it. It's nice to be out giging again. I have a gig with my other acoustic project (Feral) next Wednesday, so I'm back in the saddle again.

Cool Dude

I do have to say that sliding around in the snow carrying gear sucks.
