Yeah try tham all. I tried almost every ride (including the cheaper ones.. U neva know what u could find!) before settlining on my A custom 21" medium ride.

I never understand people just buying their stuff mail order...these are musical instruments - they require a good earing before selection!

My ride was a pressie from my grandfather.  I had always loved his ride cymbal, and for my 16th birthday he gave it to me   Nicest cymbal I have ever used...I saw an identicle one going for £600 on Ebay a few weeks back

Wow. Thats a lot of aussie $!!! Yeah i couldnt buy cymbals or drums mail order. Every one sounds different.

two of the best rides out there that i like are sabian rides and zildjian zxt rides are awesome. they have this ping that i just love.

but then again its ur choice.

i would like to hear that you got a zildjian or sabian ride. it would make me glad to no that my advice worked.
