Never formally intro'd myself on d-w, although I've shared bits and pieces in my bullJust Poosessions!

Started playing in 8th grade. During high school, I played in concert and marching bands, local college orchestra, all-county and all-state concert bands and orchestras and scored perfect grades in adjudicated snare drum auditions.

And then I quit playing!Upset

Started up again in my early 40s. Rock wasn't doing enough for me, jazz skills remained as elusive as ever, so blues was a welcome method of expression.

I'm 54, retired from state employment, playing in a band, practicing almost every day, and feeling very thankful that I had a second bite at that apple!

Left NY to become an itinerant laborer in Alaska, Washington, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia. Should've taken up harmonica, instead!

Lee, thanks! I owe it all to my wife of 26+ years, whom I couldn't have done it without! I have dear friends, but she is my best!
