| Captain Beefheart passed away this week.
For those who don't know him he was a unique/bizarre voice, who was by no means an easy listen. He did not compromise. He collaborated with Frank Zappa on an album which is probably his best known (Bongo Fury). Zappa also produced some of his recordings if I'm not mistaken. I liked him
Bddfheart's type of uncompromising creativity has no conduit to be heard anymore. Sad that he's gone. Gene | | Message posted 520 days ago | IP Logged |

| Haven't listened to Bongo Fury for quite a while. I'll have to dig it out. The Captain of the absurd will be greatly missed! Al in Illinois - Member since February 4, 2007.
I just love to beat on stuff with sticks!
