I started getting bored of playing to my fav rock CD's recently, so I tried playing along to some Eminem, and it really is actualy quite fun to play along to!  I wouldnt of tried it previously, but I recommend you all do, its good fun and because of the way R+B songs are constructed theres lots of space for your own creativity.

I never would have thought of doing that. I'd try it, but I don't own any CD's like that.

I have no way to get headphones from my computer to my drumset, so I could download it, just not listen to it while playing, which would be pointless, because I refuse to listen to that type of music.

Eminem is R&B? well, whatever..............

I usually think of bands like Moody Blues, Chicago and Smokey Robenson as R&B.

I have had fun practiced along with Electronica and Techno. The programmed beats are great for working on timing. Some time the metronome gets tiresome so the techno goes on the CD player.

That actually sounds like a good idea. I'll get some techno CD's from my girlfriend (I have no idea why she has them.)
