Ron put it out there.   Agents are a bands best friend.     BUT when it comes down to it someone in the band still needs to handle business, someone else marketing, someone else transportation and so on.  Unless you are serious about moving your career to the "NEXT" level then you must hire someone else to do that for you.  And if you think you can do it with out management then wake up and look at who your trying to be like.  And what they were in the begining not what they are now.  A manager takes you to the next level....

True...management is the way forward. But I think a first gig would be in order before hiring one.

With all the advice, I am hopeing to take the band forward to the point where we really need a manager...and then hopefully it will be worth the effort.

We will be booking the studio this week (hopefully) to get the demo sorted! £15 per hour ... I am chuffed
