| That finish didn't make me go "OH BOY" either, but it went for a hell of a price. That would be an amazing studio set.

| I've seen some dark blue lacquer finishes that I love. Mick Fleetwood used to play a set of blue lacquer DWs with natural mable hoops on the bass, they were very sharp. That was actually the set of DWs that started me lusting for a set of my own.
