There's a pipe band south of here in Birmingham (AL.). I saw them perform at my sons college graduation. I was quite impressed.The group had three snares and a bass and about a 8 to 10 pipers.

So I take it I'm a rarity on here then? Is there at least anyone who appreciates the rudimentary complexity of Pipe Band Drumming???

I'm sure we all appreciate it. I have seen parts written for pipe band drums. They are indeed complex both in rudimental execution and in how parts are combined on the page of music.

Unfortunately, talking pipe band here on DW is like ordering chinese in a mexican restaurant.
