A friend of mine is selling a pearl dlx, he wants 300 + it comes with 3 tom cases and a snare + thisspecial cusion in bass drum. I think thats a prety good deal. just wanted to know more about the kit. are ther any good ?? I also have a few pics of it.

They look nice..from my research DLX is and older discontinued series..good luck finding matching drums...nice rock sizes..looks LOUD..

Maby. the snare isnt realy anything to do with it , hes just throuing it in , its a cannon :P:P:P. I no, its from the 80's. But ive got a premier apk, so for 300 it could be a cheep upgrade for a while.

It looks like a hell of a nice kit for the money, in nice shape. I don't see it as a short term solution, to me it looks like a keeper.


I'm not a Pearl expert by any means, but I do think it was one of their higher end kits at the time.

well. the man who is selling ithas got the catolage from the 80's , its 7 ply. i forgoten what they were but the inner three ply are birch. i think i am going to get it. at first the sizes put me off, its a big kit. i realy wants 10, 12, 14....... but owww wel. its better than my old one
