"gigs you were in or saw"

How about ones you would hope to be in. The local blues club has started doing a regular thing at a Springfield hotel on Friday nights from 6:00 to 9:00. (Great time for us old farts!) I think most of the time they have a band, but at least once a month, there's an open jam. I just learned about it, so I haven't gone yet. It seems the past few days I've been preoccupied. But I plan to start going. Should be a good chance to meet some people, maybe sit in, and find some people to play with, at least informally. I don't think I want to gig every week. Now I have a kit that I'm willing to take out.

That sounds like fun. I hit open stages regularly. Some have great players, some don't, but it's always fun.
